Senior Game Designer (Casual / LiveOps)

SOFTGAMES is seeking a creative and skilled Senior Game Designer (Casual / LiveOps) - Fully Remote to join our fully remote team. As a Senior Game Designer at SOFTGAMES, you will join a dedicated team of professionals managing our leading franchise, Solitaire Home Story, in LiveOps to ensure its ongoing success across multiple platforms. This role emphasizes a strong focus on KPIs, numbers, and economy design.

This is a REMOTE position.

**Qualified applicants will be expected to complete an assignment.

• Design and balance engaging game features and progression systems while optimizing the monetisation model of the game.

• Collaborate with a talented, cross-disciplinary team to enhance products by adding new features while continuously improving the existing game experience. 

• Adjust and refine designs and the game economy based on game metrics, team input, internal/external playtests, and community feedback.

• Communicate game design concepts clearly and concisely with the team and throughout the studio.

• Inspire the agile and multidisciplinary game team through innovative and creative design.

• Iterate and adjust designs and the game economy based on game metrics, team input, internal/external playtests, and community feedback.

• A consistent 5+ years track record of relevant, released casual games.

• Profound insight into core mechanics, game loop, and meta-game design in casual games.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.

• Exceptional empathy to understand and connect with our target audience.

• Superb technical skills in balancing, tuning, polishing games, and developing monetisation strategies.

• A strong embrace of F2P models, enjoying working with KPIs and user feedback to refine your designs.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

• Deep passion for games
