Risk & Compliance Data Analyst

The Risk & Compliance Data Analyst is a key member of the fraud, risk, and compliance team. You will report directly to the Head of Compliance and will work cross-functionally with the data, engineering, and product teams of Unchained. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing data to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring our company's operations comply with regulatory requirements and key risk metrics of business lines. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and support strategic business decision-making.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to risk and compliance.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all data sources.
• Develop dashboards, create visualizations, and compile reports to monitor key risk indicators and compliance metrics.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business practices, risk management, and independent reviews.
• Support the development and implementation of compliance programs and initiatives.
• Work closely with other departments, such as legal, information security, and operations, to gather, analyze, and interpret data.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• You have 1+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in handling and interpreting data, preferably within a risk management or compliance environment.
• You are proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel, Google Scripts).
• You have experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
• You live in the United States

• You have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• You have some knowledge of bitcoin, with a demonstrated passion and commitment to learning more
• You have experience working in the Bitcoin space
