About the role
 

The Content Designer position at Vestd is a dynamic role for a content and user-focused professional who is passionate about creating best-in-class website experiences.

This is an exciting, strategic opportunity for someone to identify and implement engaging, conversion-focused user journeys for our target audience. You will work closely with the team lead and Website Manager to reshape the Vestd website.

The ideal candidate must have practical experience of content design and production for websites, preferably in a B2B / SaaS environment, along with a good grounding in UX principles.

Requirements

Key responsibilities

You will spend the majority of your time:

  • Working with stakeholders to identify their content needs
  • Learning about the various personas we target and refining the messaging for each segment
  • Reviewing existing buyer journeys to identify what’s working, and where we can improve
  • Helping to develop an overarching content strategy
  • Creating a wide range of web pages 
  • Copywriting and coordinating content with production, design and website teams
  • Managing the editing and publishing process
  • Helping the growth team to scale campaigns and landing pages
  • Conducting regular content audits to identify gaps and areas for optimisation
  • Training employees to help them create content for their own pages
  • Running continuous tests across the website 
  • Reporting on key content and conversion metrics
  • Maintaining SEO, metadata and other technical standards



Skills & knowledge

Essential

  • 5+ years experience in a web content or user experience role
  • First rate communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Meticulous attention to detail, rigour and quality control
  • Adept at planning, creating, commissioning and refining content
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles
  • Understanding of buyer psychology and B2B user journeys 
  • Analytical / data skills
  • Self-driven and hungry to succeed
  • Brilliant at prioritisation and managing your own workload
  • A willingness to collaborate early and often 
  • A high degree of creativity and curiosity

Bonus points

  • B2B / SaaS experience 
  • Experience of working in a remote team
  • Production skills (e.g. videos, webinars, podcasts)
  • A degree in a relevant topic
  • Knowledge of shares and share schemes
