Position: Accountant

Working hours: 9am - 5pm EST

Company location: USA (remote)

Salary: USD$1 - 2k / month + PTO

Candidates location: Latam (Latin America)

This company is a global leader in the design and manufacture of fully automated decorating and finishing systems for bakeries around the world. They are seeking a full-time Accountant. You will report directly to the Accounting Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and executing month end journal entries.
Maintaining prepaids, fixed assets, and commission schedules.
Performing monthly credit card reconciliations, ensuring appropriate support for all transactions.
Compiling monthly project cost estimate worksheets for project management team.
Preparing weekly payroll journal entries.
Accounts Receivable – generating customer invoices and statements, supporting collection efforts, and posting customer payments.
Compiling weekly check run for management approval.
Collaborating on other accounting projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Strong organizational skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office (strong excel skills would be an asset in this role) and Google
Suite – ERP experience is a plus.
2+ years accounting experience
Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field.
