About the Role

As an Accounting Manager, you'll lead the financial operations of multiple entities within our group, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. Collaborating with executive management, you'll develop forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans to support our objectives, including potential IPO considerations. Your international financial expertise will guide us through cross-border complexities, while your hands-on approach will optimize cash flow management and budgeting processes. Additionally, any previous leadership experience will help you manage our existing team of accountants.

What You Will Do

  • Provide leadership in overseeing the financial operations of multiple entities within the group.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with executive management to develop financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans aligned with the company's objectives. .
  • Contribute to the development and execution of financial plans for future growth, including potential IPO considerations.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial proposals, presentations, and due diligence documents to support fundraising efforts.
  • Leverage extensive international financial experience to navigate the complexities of managing finances across borders.
  • Handle multi-currency transactions and understand the nuances of financial regulations in various jurisdictions.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Provide guidance on complex financial issues and ensure professional development within the team.
  • Bring expertise in financial technology or insurtech, staying abreast of industry trends and implementing relevant technologies to enhance financial processes.
  • Optimize cash flow management, working capital, and budgeting processes to maximize profitability and minimize financial risks.

What We Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business
  • CPA or ACCA certification is mandatory
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial roles, with a strong preference for international companies
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing financial operations across multiple jurisdictions
  • Prior exposure to financial technology (FinTech) or insurtech is highly desirable
  • Experience with initial public offerings (IPO) is a significant advantage
  • Experience with Xero or Quickbooks is a plus
  • Previous work experience in a Big Four accounting firm is a plus
  • Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Meticulous, well-organized and conscientious with a high level of initiative at work
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, a strong sense of responsibility with a positive working attitude
  • Resourceful, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and go beyond
  • Great English communication skills
  • Based in the Philippines
