Job Description

The Matian Firm, APC, is expanding its legal team, and is actively seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Remote EOIR Paralegal. Candidates must have excellent client-service attitude and case management skills. At least 2 years immigration law experience and knowledge of procedural requirements of non-immigrant and immigrant visas. In this role the lead paralegal will participate in all aspects of our immigration law practice, including assisting in the management of client relationships, case preparation, review and analysis. 

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize in-depth legal knowledge to make reasoned decisions in immigration matters.
  • Manage client relationships with a strong client-service attitude.
  • Conduct case review, analysis, and preparation for immigrant and non-immigrant petitions.
  • Stay informed about procedural requirements for various non-immigrant and immigrant visas.
  • Participate in all aspects of the immigration practice.
  • Utilize case management and billing systems

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of immigration law experience 
  • Strong understanding of immigration-related laws and procedures
  • Excellent case management skills
  • Client-service mindset and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a growing legal team
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
 
Pay rate:
$8-$11/hr
