Job Description

We are looking for a Director, Training & Development to join our Team! 

  • Are you passionate about owning, designing and overseeing training programmes for internal and external clients?

The primary objectives and responsibilities of a Director, Training & Development includes:

  • Develop and implement a training and development strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and considers the organizational structure;
  • Assess and evaluate business needs and priorities and own the training roadmap; 
  • Partnering with others to create new training programs and curriculum to help employees improve their skills and performance and to help our customers receive value from our products and services; 
  • Working within budgets to coordinate paid and unpaid training initiatives across the organization;  
  • Leading, and holding accountable those developing programs and delivering training;
  • Introduce new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance training effectiveness and efficiency; 
  • Establish metrics to measure the impact and ROI of training programs. Regularly evaluate training effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed; 
  • Navigate and leverage the matrix structure in relation to owned programs and those owned by others (Product, Operations, Sales); 
  • Co-owning the revenue model for external training for customers; 
  • Develop certification process/requirements for internal training of staff. 



What you’ll bring to the table:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, organizational development, learning and development, or a related field / experience;
  • Proven experience in training and development roles, ideally from a B2B SaaS sector;
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training evaluation methodologies; 
  • Experience with learning management systems; 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • A highly collaborative approach; 
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization, with a demonstrated ability to influence others; 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment; 
  • Experience leading in a matrix organization.
