Summary: The People and Culture Generalist and Recruiter supports the People and Culture team with recruiting and human resources administration assistance. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, recruiting, interviewing, job posting, new hire onboarding, and other Human Resources related projects. 

Responsibilities:

Human Resources: 

  • Serves as the lead for employee life cycle processes, onboarding and offboarding.  
  • Maintain and update company HRIS systems while providing value-added reports for decision making
  • Process employee terminations including distribution of separation paperwork
  • Lead and contribute to special projects requiring data analysis and opportunity to provide data-driven solutions
  • Assisting the Human Resources team with operational requests such as reviewing, editing and posting job ads and other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Provide support for all other Human Resources activities as necessary

 

Recruiting: 

  • Supporting multiple open requisitions while providing an excellent candidate experience.
  • Perform applicant screening and first-round interviews. Interviews may include phone, virtual and onsite interviews, complex multilayered scheduling, videoconferencing and facilitating travel arrangements.
  • Organize and execute day-to-day operational tasks for talent acquisition 
  • Coordinate aspects of on-campus recruiting including acting as a liaison with schools and registering for outreach events
  • Maintain and train hiring managers on Applicant Tracking System, Greenhouse
  • Train and advise hiring managers on equitable best practices, interviewing techniques and assessment methods, as well as providing training on our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Greenhouse

 

Intern Program: 

  • Support daily operations of intern programs such as ordering supplies, recruiting and responding to correspondence from prospective, current and prior interns.
  • Initiating and overseeing the onboarding experience for interns, which includes initiating offer letters, background checks, completing Welcome Packets, and assisting with other onboarding logistics.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in HR as a Generalist with Recruiter functions in full-cycle recruiting.
  • Proficient with learning and using cloud-based software systems, such as GSuite and Microsoft, remote-based training and presentation tools
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse or similar Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • SHRM or HRCI Human Resources certification preferred or ability to acquire. 
  • Experience managing several projects at once.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Effective organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to monitor several communication channels at once (Zendesk, Asana, Gmail, Slack, etc.)
  • Operates with integrity and responsibility concerning confidential information and a professional sensibility
  • Able to flex and be nimble in an evolving organization

Specifications:

  • Terms of employment: Permanent Full-Time, non-exempt Position

  • Location: Remote, U.S. 
  • Travel: Minimal
  • Pay: 26-28/hour
