About the Position
Solera Health is seeking an Account Director who will be directly responsible for forging and maintaining excellent relationships with Health Plan and Employer clients to ensure the success of the Solera programs and delivered services.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with health plan clients and their strategic accounts
- Develop a deep understanding of Solera's solutions and sales process
- Manage implementation of new accounts to ensure on-time and successful program launches
- Develop strategy on how to expand strategic relationships within an organization
- Successfully manage renewals and contract extensions
- Effectively manage relationships with key employers, healthcare providers and diabetes prevention program stakeholders, including public health officials
- Grow existing clients by identifying new opportunities for expansion – outreach, services, geographies, etc.
- Serve as primary (day to day) point of contact and trusted business advisor for assigned accounts by managing all ongoing communication with assigned clients and employers
- Work closely with Solera internal departments to educate and maintain optimal support resources and prioritize software functionality based on client requests

What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- 5+ years experience of Account Management, Customer Success and/or Relationship Management
- Health plan/payer account management experience required
- Strong understanding of employer health management programs a plus
- Understanding of health plan operations, employee benefits and the fundamentals of self-insurance
- Proactive approach supporting internal/external customers to meet their needs
- Outstanding communication skills with a thoughtful and collaborative approach to relationships
- Experience in upselling and retaining customers to drive additional revenue
Travel
- The Company may from time to time require you to travel temporarily to other locations (domestic and international) in connection with the Company's business
- This position requires 25% travel
