About the Role:

Wing is looking for a Sr. Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to join our Go to Market and Operations team based remotely in the US. The SAM role will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Wing’s growth trajectory and will be the primary advocate for Wing’s key customers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met. By collaborating closely with internal teams and customers, the SAM will drive customer satisfaction and influence product development. Key responsibilities include delivering impactful presentations, managing critical customer interactions, and supporting market launches, all aimed at enhancing Wing’s overall business success as we continue to scale. We’re looking for people who are intrinsically driven to solve hard problems with stunningly simple solutions, move fast, and are highly adaptive.

What You’ll Do: 

Account Management

  • Represent Wing’s Business and Technology with key partners that drive our business. 
  • Interact daily with Wing’s key partner points of contact across operations, finance, real estate, go to market, and technology teams to provide streamlined key customer experience.
  • Answer operational questions and concerns, and prepare and present presentation decks for weekly partner reviews, including WBRs, QBRs, and ad-hoc leadership reviews
  • Aggregate and prioritize customer feedback, and communicate/translate pressing customer needs to internal business and product/technical teams
  • Earn trust with key stakeholders from customers' leadership teams and advocate for their needs internally to Wing’s leadership team, ensuring Wing builds and iterate on solutions that drive customer success. 
  • Travel as required for site launches, support business development activities, and to build strong, trust-based relationships with partners


In Market/Partnership Development & Product

  • Wing is a global organization that hosts Sr. Leaders in the “field” from our customer/partners leadership teams frequently. The success of the SAM’s role will be to quickly and organically earn the trust from the key stakeholders on our partners leadership team and lead/support in market important launch and presentation needs 
  • Travel to various customer locations globally, including quarterly in-person presentations to partner leadership, store visits, and ad-hoc meetings to resolve operational challenges
  • Be on-site for all new deployments of software, hardware, or integration betas, pilots, and launches of new sites, partnerships, or technology as Wing's services and technology continue to innovate
  • Manage partner facing demos, Q&A sessions, and in market plus virtual operational crisis management 
  • Own relationship with key partners once deals have been negotiated and closed

What You’ll Need: 

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in Sales, Account Management or Business Development with fortune 500 or similar organizations ideally within technology, retail, grocery, or food service 
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with Product/Technology teams to define partner-facing tools, directly influencing product and technology prioritization roadmaps
  • Exemplary written, verbal, deck building and presentation skills 
  • Experience managing accounts with 7-day/week live operations 
  • Thrives in fast paced and ambiguous environments
  • Strategically looks at the long term and are comfortable making tough decisions in leadership or customer facing meetings 
  • Robust customer/partner facing experience in navigating high-stakes customer experience and operational discussions 
  • Demonstrated ability to create and nurture new business opportunities while driving existing relationships

The US base salary range for this full-time position is the salary range below + bonus + equity + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
