Co-founder & CTO

About Us: 

We are seeking a Co-founder & CTO for our stealth startup, a FutureSight venture, on a Mission to deliver ground-breaking business insights to MSP owners. We help MSPs better understand the information locked in their key business systems and enable them to take definitive actions that will save costs and generate new revenues. We are a small team with pre-seed funding that was launched via a venture studio. We already have multiple customers signed up to deploy our solution once it is operational. We are seeking an entrepreneur to join the CEO and founding team and lead the engineering efforts in the capacity of a founding CTO. The CEO is an experienced entrepreneur with a track record of success in the MSP industry.   

What You'll Do: 

• Work closely with the CEO and other stakeholders to define the technology strategy and drive the execution of our product roadmap
• Develop and maintain the full stack of our MSP business intelligence solution, including front-end user interfaces, back-end infrastructure, NLP integration, and third-party software interfaces. Implement scalable, secure and compliant applications with a focus on user experience and performance. 
• Build the product and engineering team as we grow 
• Support fundraising, including pitching to investors, securing venture capital, and managing investor relations

Requirements

Technical Skills: 

• Deep understanding of core technologies like AI/ML, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pre-trained Models, and NLP. 
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) for infrastructure management and deployment.
• Extensive experience with open-source tools and a strong track record of contributing to open-source projects. 
• Proficiency in using Git for version control and familiarity with DevOps methodologies.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer. Expertise in designing and implementing microservices architecture. 
• Working experience with relational (e.g., Postgres) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases, as well as familiarity with big data processing.
• Experience with building and maintaining web portals using basic front-end technologies (HTML, CSS,JavaScript). 
• Experience in developing highly secure and compliant applications.  

Entrepreneurial and leadership Skills:

• An entrepreneurial mindset, willing to work in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment of a startup. A detail-oriented team player who can start a product from zero and bring it to market. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Proven leadership in building, managing and growing engineering teams.
• Effective project management, and strategic alignment of technology with business goals.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to inspire and motivate engineering and product teams.
• Independent worker with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
• Business acumen with a good understanding of the company's industry and market landscape. 

Good to Have:

• Experience in the IT managed services industry or corporate IT network operations/ service desk (any ticketing system)
• Knowledge of corporate IT Network Admin best practices and ITIL frameworks
