Product Developer

Our Engineering & Data Management function design, build and deploy software products for a wide range of financial market clients with a primary focus on the fund data value chain. Our agile teams come together as global solution providers using the latest tools and innovative techniques.

We are seeking six contact Product Developers. We have two roles available for a 3-month contract and four roles available for a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities include implementing object-oriented principles and design patterns, building reusable code and libraries, optimizing application performance and scalability, and maintaining high-quality standards through clean coding practices and code reviews.

As a Product Developer your key responsibilities will be to:

• Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Entity Framework, MS SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
• Implement object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure a high standard of work through clean coding habits and code reviews.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with the point of contact.

As a Product Developer your required experience and skills are:

• You will be experienced with C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET 4.5+, .NET Core, Entity Framework 6.x, MS SQL, JavaScript, and jQuery
• You will have a basic understanding of HTML & CSS
• You will come with expertise in web technologies: JSON/XML, Web APIs, RESTful APIs
• You will have a comprehensive understanding of object-oriented design principles and patterns, with the ability to independently analyse and comprehend existing application codebases and design structures.
• Have a strong understanding of asynchronous programming
• You will have hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• You will be skilled in Agile development processes
• You will be proficient in Git source control management
• You have the ability to write clean, structured, and maintainable code
• You will be experienced in unit test automation and code analysis techniques
