You’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of modernizing a banking core that powers over $60 billion in annual transaction volume for over 100 million active payment cards for one of the largest credit card issuers in the world.

As a Senior Engineer, you will collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions as part of a full-stack development tools and technologies team. You'll share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community all with the end goal of delivering robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of customers achieve financial empowerment

We utilize a wide range of programming languages and developer tools like Python, NodeJS, ReactJS, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree
At least 5 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
Experience in at least one of the following: Python, NodeJS, ReactJS, JavaScript, Golang
Experience in REST API development and GraphQL
Knowledge of end to end application architecture, design and implementation
Extensive experience with AWS cloud - specifically serverless architecture using Lambdas, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM
Knowledge of NoSQL and Graph databases (Neptune, GraphDB, Neo4j, DynamoDB, etc.)
Prior work with observability and monitoring tools (New Relic, Splunk, Data Dog, etc.)
Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Experience with testing frameworks like TDD
Experience in Agile practices
