SQL Developer at ASE Global – Remote – UK

We are hiring at ASE for an SQL Developer to join our team!

What your day will look like:

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, and triggers using T-SQL.
• Perform SQL performance monitoring and optimization to ensure efficient database operations.
• Interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Exhibit leadership qualities to drive project success and foster team collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL development with a strong understanding of database concepts.
• Proven experience in SQL performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex business requirements.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Leadership qualities to inspire and guide team members towards project objectives is a plus.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of database design principles and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle processes.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in SQL development and database management.
• Certification in SQL or related technologies is a plus.
