The Role

Are you passionate about crafting compelling copy from complex technical concepts? Are you motivated by improving understanding, generating engagement, and increasing conversion rates? Are you excited about the impact of Artificial Intelligence and using your Content Writing skills to support AI development? 

Join our Marketing team as a Technical Copywriter and be at the forefront of producing high-quality technical content that resonates with our audiences.

What you'll be doing
  • Content Creation:
    • Write content assets like product guides for AI model developers, technical blog posts, how-to e-books targeting researchers and developers, AI and R&D customer case studies, and technical thought leadership whitepapers.
    • Ensure all content meets SEO standards, reflects broader Marketing and Sales strategies, and includes a clear path for customers to move through the marketing funnel.
  • Audience Engagement:
    • Adapt the tone and complexity of the content to match the target audience's knowledge level and needs.
  • Collaboration & Project Management:
    • Collaborate effectively with our team of developers, designers, and marketers.
    • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Brief external agencies when required, evaluating and signing off their work.
What you’ll bring
  • Ability to interpret and simplify complex technical concepts and research concepts into compelling written content, including AI, R&D, and other research methodologies.
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely, avoiding jargon while maintaining precision.
  • Proven experience writing to defined style guides.
  • Excellent command of English grammar.
  • Ability to adapt the tone and complexity of content based on audience knoledge and needs.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices.
  • Experienced undertaking keyword research and integrating keywords naturally into content.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in Marketing and cross-functionally.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and present it logically.
  • Critical thinking skills to evaluate content effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in proofreading and editing.
  • Experience supporting your work with AI-driven writing and ideation tools.

  • An interest in the fields of data analysis, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and other related fields.

Our Interview Process

Talent Call - You'll meet with one of our Talent team members and have an exploratory call about the role requirements, life at Prolific, as well as your background and aspirations.

Hiring Manager Interview - You'll interview with two members of the team, one of whom will be the hiring manager. You'll have the opportunity to ask about the company and the role, and we'll ask you questions about your experiences and goals.

Panel Interview - We'll conduct a panel interview to assess the skills required for the role. You'll meet with more members of our team and may be asked to complete a presentation or task. You'll receive a £50 voucher 💰as compensation for completing the task because we value your time!

Final Interview - We will delve into your past experiences, goals, motivations, and skills, all aligned with our Prolific Principles. You'll speak with two to three members of the team and, as always, have an opportunity to ask questions about the role and company.
