Job Description

About us:

Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others.

What You’ll Be Doing:

We’re looking for a Manager of Credentialing Special Projects who is passionate about improving the landscape for mental healthcare. In this role, you’ll lead a team of 5-6 Operations Associates in developing and implementing innovative the no-code workflows and automations that dictate our credentialing system. This system is ultimately what allows us to enroll our mental health providers in new insurance plans so that Grow Therapy can bring accessible mental healthcare to more clients. The Manager of Credentialing Special Projects will report directly to the Director of Credentialing Strategy & Operations within the Insurance Operations Department.

In this role, you'll:

  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of Ops Associates on the Credentialing Operations team
  • Oversee the design and implementation of 8-10 net-new payor builds or process improvements per quarter
  • Manage roadmap for ongoing improvements to Credentialing operational workflows
  • Collaborate with our Contracting, Credentialing, Product, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure we’re setting up the Credentialing team to get Grow’s mental health providers in-network as quickly as possible
  • Work closely with the Senior Manager of Credentialing Enrollments and the Manager of Delegated Credentialing to identify process breakdowns, develop improvement plans, and implement solutions to resolve issues at scale
  • Constantly ideate on how we can continue to improve our systems so that our infrastructure continues to scale as we increase our provider count

Salary range: $107,681 - $140,760

You’ll Be a Good Fit If You:

  • Have 3+ years of experience leading strategic projects and teams at health tech organizations
  • Are hyper focused on creating the most efficient processes and driving operational improvements with your team.
  • Have a deep understanding of how processes are connected to driving KPIs.
  • Can solve problems by leveraging data analyses to identify the biggest opportunities, come up with hypotheses, and think about how to test out potential solutions.
  • Have a strong track record of juggling multiple initiatives and clear ability to prioritize most important stuff
  • Are highly organized and able to keep projects and priorities on track. You may even have some type of Project Management certification.
  • Are comfortable using tools like Excel to perform data analysis. Can structure and articulate more complex analyses to data experts.
  • Are experienced with no-code solutions such as Zapier, HubSpot, and/or API integrations

If you don’t meet every single requirement, but are still interested in the job, please apply. Nobody checks every box, and Grow believes the perfect candidate is more than just a resume.
